DIY: Water-colour Magnet Shadow Boxes

I just love water-colours – the effects you can achieve and the bright or soft hues that come from the same palette.

It just so happens that I have a set of magnetic spice jars that I’ve never managed to use that looks as though it’ll be just perfect for this little project¬†I found on I Still Love You. I’ll let you know how I go as I go along . . .

Decal Transfer Tutorial with free printables

This is just about the oldest item on my to-do list – I love this style. Whether it be these definitions for labels, or for a cushion cover, or even just on a canvas on the wall. So I was super excited to come across The Painted Hive¬†and Kristine’s fabulous tutorial¬†complete with free printables¬†to create these gorgeous labels for yourself. ¬†Now if anyone has seen any more words/definitions around I’d love to know about it – I’d like to get a little collection going then hit a few projects all at once!

Toilet Paper Roll Cord Organization

I’ve been hoarding toilet rolls since I came across this on Pinterest¬†and I don’t have enough yet to start this project but I definitely have some ideas about taking it a step or two further by poking the “wall end” of the plug through a hole in the back of the box, and creating a kind of charging station.¬†¬†That’s the theory anyway – although I think that the heat from charging may not mix well with the cardboard of the toilet paper rolls so it may just be a single-purpose storage facility after all.

Magazine Page Suitcase

I love the idea of this decorated suitcase, although I imagine it as more of a decorative item – rather than a practical one – I wouldn’t trust the baggage handlers I’ve met with it. Although a pile of different sized decorated suitcases would make a really neat looking storage solution!

Sincerely, Kinsey¬†has the tutorial and it’s a really good, easy to follow one. I’m going to have to hit the op-shops to find some old-school suitcases to decorate!
